Guadalajara comes back from three goals down to earn a dramatic draw against Tijuana in the Mexican tournament.

MEXICO CITY, Aug. 22 — Guadalajara, the most popular club in Mexican soccer, recovered from three goals down on Friday to earn a hard-fought draw in its visit to Tijuana to kick off the sixth matchday of the Apertura tournament.

Armando González, Efraín Álvarez, and Roberto Alvarado tied the score for the "Chivas" of Guadalajara after the youth player Gilberto Mora, who scored twice, and the Cameroonian who became a naturalized Belgian, Frank Moya, had given the "Xolos" of Tijuana the lead.
In the match played at Tijuana's Caliente Stadium, the home team took the lead in the fifth minute through Mora, who finished inside the box with a right-footed shot.
Tijuana had a chance to extend its lead late in the first half with a penalty kick, but goalkeeper José Rangel blocked Ecuadorian Adonis Preciado's shot.
The team led by Uruguayan Sebastián Abreu increased their lead in the 50th minute through Boya, who finished off a cross from Jesús Vega from the left flank in the six-yard box.
Tijuana's third goal came in the 64th minute with a double from Mora, who finished with a right-footed shot after the ball hit the crossbar following a shot from Kevin Castañeda.
Just when it looked like Tijuana would pull off a comfortable victory, Chivas began to react and pulled one back in the 74th minute when González finished with a left-footed shot in the box after controlling a pass from Erick Gutiérrez.
Guadalajara scored the second goal in the 84th minute when Álvarez slotted the ball into the left corner after taking a free kick from outside the box.
The so-called "Sacred Flock," which only hires Mexican players, equalized in the 96th minute with a left-footed shot from Alvarado's corner.
In Friday's other matches, Bravos de Ciudad Juárez rallied from a goal down to beat Santos Laguna 2-1 thanks to goals from Ángel Zaldívar and Denzell García in the 89th and 92nd minutes. Colombian Cristian Dajome had given Santos the lead in the 11th minute.
Meanwhile, Querétaro earned its first win of the tournament after defeating Atlético de San Luis 3-2 with goals from Ali Ávila, Juan Robles, and Uruguayan Santiago Homenchenko. Brazilian-born Italian Joao Geraldino scored a brace for the defeated team.
